  • Presentation about the CompSOC design flow at the FPGAWorld conference in Stockholm in September 2013.
  • Our tutorial Designing Next-Generation Real-Time Streaming Systems was accepted at HiPEAC 2013, which takes place in Berlin January 2013. The tutorial is a collaboration between Eindhoven University of Technology, ST-Ericsson and Saarland University, and presents, among other things, predictability concepts from the CompSOC platform and its associated toolchain.
  • Kees Goossens and Benny Akesson will present and demonstrate the CompSOC concepts and platform at RTSS in Puerto Rico in December 2012.
  • Concepts from the CompSOC platform and its associated toolchain will be presented in a tutorial entitled "Designing Next-Generation Real-Time Streaming Systems" at the HiPEAC conference in January 2013. The tutorial is a collaboration between Eindhoven University of Technology, ST-Ericsson and Saarland University. You find the tutorial website here.
  • Benny Akesson will be presenting at the Meaow workshop in Tampere on Memory Controllers for Real-Time Embedded Systems.
  • Ashkan Beyranvand will present the use of CompSOC in education in the Workshop on Embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems Education.
  • An invited presentation entitled "Composability and Predictability in the CompSOC platform" was presented at Mälardalen Real-Time Research Centre (MRTC), Sweden, on 11 May 2012. This presentation was given for the second year running as a part of a graduate course on Advanced Real-Time Systems.
  • An invited presentation entitled "Real-Time Memory Controllers", focusing on the CompSOC memory controller, was presented at Lunds Institute of Technology (LTH), Sweden, on 27 April 2012.
  • CompSOC will be at the DATE university booth in Dresden, 12-16 March, 2012.
  • The open-source DRAM power estimation tool DRAMPower V1.0 has been released for fast and accurate DRAM power and energy estimation using JEDEC specifications for DDR2 and DDR3 memories.  It employs datasheets provided by memory vendors and a DRAM command trace sent to the memory from any DRAM controller, and performs cycle-by-cycle analysis for energy and power estimation. Currently, the tool supports common memory operations like read, write, refresh, activate and precharge/auto-precharge.
  • An invited presentation entitled "Composability and Predictability in the CompSOC platform" was presented at Research Centre in Real-Time Computing Systems (CISTER), Portugal, on 24 February 2012.
  • A tutorial on predictability and composability, in Eindhoven, 27 January 2012.
